Cufflink Care Checker

Choose the structural and decorative materials to receive a conservative routine and clear stop signs.

When materials are mixed, unknown, antique, valuable, damaged, or adhesive-set, the safest recommendation becomes more conservative.

Why the tool is deliberately cautious

Polish removes material. Water can enter seams. Chemicals suitable for metal may damage pearl, stone, enamel, wood, fabric, adhesives, or intentionally darkened finishes. The tool therefore recommends routine wiping more often than active cleaning.

Stop using damaged links. A loose post, opening chain, unstable stone, cracked enamel, or failing hinge can lead to loss and may worsen with wear.
